Optimization System for Electrostatic Precipitator

An existing PIMS based on CIM/21 was heavily extended.

Two SCADA systems for monitoring, control and optimization of the electrostatic precipitators in generating units D and E were deployed (replacing Siemens R10 systems).

Archived data was transfered from CIM/21 to the central PIMS.

  • interfaces to existing controllers COROMATIC R (10 for each precipitator)
  • extra digital/analog inputs and digital outputs for existing signals
  • full control for operators via mimic diagram
  • powerful long term archiving and analysis tools
  • optimization functions, e.g. energy minimization
